Thanks to Work Interactive for all their hard work and support in designing and launching YMCA Scotland's new website. We will continue to work closely with them with our email marketing.
Work Interactive have been thoroughly professional throughout, and our client is delighted with the results so far, with significant increase in traffic since launch.
The optimisation has allowed me to significantly reduce my PPC campaign, without seeing a reduction in web based bookings.I would not hesitate to recommend your company, and will certainly utilise you again in the future for design and optimisation.
Why should you then treat your marketing any different? I'm going to focus on email marketing as it is something you should review regularly - especially as it can drive so many sales and had a higher ROI than all other direct marketing strategies.
Design - if the design isn't working for you, get it changed. If your newsletter is turning your clients away then you need to review this before you have lsot the interest of your whole list! Make it look professional, but don't overload it with pictures and links. It needs to be balanced. You can view your open rate to see if this is a factor.
Content - Your content actually needs to be interesting. If you are getting no links through to your website then this is a major let-down. Fix it by adding small bits of information and a link to your blog.
Contacts - Perhaps the most important. Check that the people you are talking to are the right people. Make sure that all the email address are relevant and that your segmented mailing lists are still valid. What's the point in sending a contact information about a product when they have already bought one, or said they are no longer interested in that product? There is nothing wrong in giving your database a spring clean and changing your strategy about. Make sure that clients get sent the company news relevant to them, but leads get information on your services with a more "sales" feel.
Because it's spring, everyone is starting to freshening up. Get out there and find out what is new, looks good and what is working. You agency can give you the best information if you have one, but if you manage your own strategy, explore the new technologies and trends. Sign up for a few competitor's newsletter to see how they do it - then do it better!
